Okay, so I will just give you a little bit of info, still trying to keep their privacy intact.
Amy--she is a friend of both Dolly and Hannah. According to Dolly, "Amy is a gem and if she lived near us girls she would just fit right in." Dolly has only the best things to say about Amy and her sweet parents. And, I found out today that in Amy's recent past, she lived not too far from us! Amy has a blog if you want to learn more about her. Click on her name in the comment section of the Sept. 23 post for the link to her blog.
Noelle--she is a friend of Caroline's. I don't know a whole lot about Noelle. I believe she is a graduate of LU, which me likie and, Hello...let's just say she lives in a very cool place!
Karin--she is my friend. I met Karin about a year ago on the football field. Our son's were on the same team. Karin went to LU also. Karin is a photographer and has taken many of my families pictures. Her website is redchestnutphotography.com.
Laura--she is a friend of Inger. From what I can tell Laura and Inger are like two peas in a pod. She appears to be very crafty. She told me via email that just recently she moved from where she had lived for the past 38 years and is now in a new state. Wow, that's a good wife!
This swap has been fun. There have been so many questions going back and forth from so many of you, wanting to get to know your person. That is sweet! Anyway, I think I sent all the correct information to each of you. If there is something else you need, just let me know.
So the first gift has been sent. Donna sent Laura her gift today. That Donna--always on the ball. Alllllways on the ball!

what Can I say...I always bring my A game. Thanks for the post. See...I learned something. I thought "Amy" was Dolly's college friend, Amy. I had no idea it was this Amy!! Welcome girls!!!
Awesome idea Donna! I love getting to know a bit more about the swap gals! I'm also excited to find that Donna was turbo mailer :-)--I may be the first to recieve her swap! Can't wait to see all the goodies exchanged between my new friends! Happy Fall, Y'all!
I sent my package out this morning. Caroline, be looking for a UPS box that should be coming on Monday.
Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your swap! I am having so much fun getting to know my swap gal (Amy :)) and had a great time shopping last night!
I had the privilege of meeting Caroline about 12 years ago when she was a guest speaker in one of my communications classes at Liberty. She has been a role model and dear friend to me ever since!
I am a Liberty grad and worked as a trainer/analyst for a major medical software company until I had my daughter Lily three years ago. I also have a 10 month old Joey.
I have been married for 9 years to my wonderful husband who is a naval officer and fighter jet pilot for the Navy. In May he graduated from the US Naval Test Pilot school aeronautical engineering graduate program and is now a test pilot doing a joint tour with Nellis Air Force in Las Vegas. We moved to Vegas this past July. It has been HOT but we like our house and church and are meeting new friends. Speaking of moves we have moved 7 times in our 9 year marriage! Annapolis, MD > Kingsville, TX > San Diego, CA > Hanford, CA (near Fresno, not nearly as "awesome" as San Diego) > Patuxant River, MD and now Las Vegas! It has been an adventure and I'm thankful for all the friends and experiences we have had.
I love God, my family ......and shopping, photography, traveling, eating and I try to like the gym too :). Hope I didn't ramble on for too long. Am typing this from my iPhone (oh yah I am kind of addicted to my phone) and can't figure out how to scroll up and edit some of this out, ha! I look forward to getting to know you all and have been inspired by reading your blogs. Thank you Caroline for thinking of me!
This is so fun. Mrs. Reber, I can't believe you have already mailed my package. Thank you so much! Noelle, so excited to have you join the swap. Love to everyone.
Hey Noelle, thank you for sharing so much. I knew alot of what you had said, from Caroline, but I just didn't want to post it without your permission.
You lead a very neat life--US Naval pilot---COOL! And Vegas--Neat-O!
What year did you finish at Liberty?
I love getting to know a little about the "newbies". Thanks for doing this Denise. And yes, Donna is always on the ball. Since Karin and I are in Bible study, I'll just bring my gift to you on Tues Karin. And Caroline, let me just say, my mom outdid herself. She showed me what she got for you and I know you'll love it!
Hey Denise! I graduated from LU in 2000. Are you also a Liberty grad? You live in a great place too, I love FL. What part do you live in?
Noelle, I finished LU in 96. And we did live in FL, but now we live back home in Lynchburg. My husband in a Psychology teacher there. I am HAPPY to be home!!!!
Yay for the new girls! I LOVED this post! I kinda want more info on everyone else now too.....
You girls will LOVE "my" Laura...she is super, crazy creative and one of the most hilarious people I have ever known! I just wish Dave Ramsey didn't need them in Texas....:(
Nice to "meet" you other girls too!!
I guess I'm a Slacker (*with a capital "S"!) Sorry Donna- Your package will go out tomorrow!! It will be worth the wait, though!!!
Hi Girls! It's been a blast being a part of the swap. Shopping for my swap person (Denise) has been fun, too.
Here's a little bit more about me:
I'm originally from Texas and I am one of those crazy Texans who brags about their state ALL of the time! Woo hoo! I met Dolly almost ten years ago when she was working for BGEA. My parents also worked for them and we would meet up at every festival and catch up on one another's lives. She has always been very special to my family and we're so blessed to know her!
I have been married for three years to Dan. We met on match.com.. didn't see that coming! We have had an interesting journey, but are more in love today than ever before and know that we have a testimony coming from the many trials that we've endured. I have two very sweet step-sons that bring so much joy to my heart. We live in the rural mountains of Colorado. Seriously, it's 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store. I have so many stories about my adjustment to life here. Sometimes I think that I need a blog just for sharing that part of my life. This city girl did not adjust easily!
I won't ramble on anymore.. Thanks everyone for the welcome. It's been fun getting to know new people!
Thanks girls for sharing a bit more about yourself. You all live in such neat places.
If there is anything you want to know about the rest of us swappers, just let me know!
Denise, So happy you get to be back in Lynchburg, I love Lynchburg and would love to end up there again in the future. Amy- loved reading more about you! Your gift is going out tomorrow. I'm a city girl too who has had to spend some time in rural places. If you don't have it already, Amazon.com prime is awesome. Free 2 day shipping on almost everything you could possibly need.
Thanks, Noelle! That's is priceless information! Checking it out, right now!
